As they mature, foxes will try to acquire their own territory and may establish earth in parks and domestic gardens.
The urban fox's diet consists mainly of food scavenged from the streets and gardens. They also eat fruit, worms, insects and small animals, some of which are pests (eg rats, mice and pigeons). Generally, they do not pose a threat to domestic cats and dogs but, being opportunists, will take smaller pets such as rabbits and guinea pigs if they are left unguarded.
Rabbits Rabbits live in extended groups and their ability to decimate plants is legendary. Rabbits really are intent on munching their way through your greenery and are likely to return in their droves once they have found a good spot to eat.
Moles Moles are solitary and chiefly eat worms, with additional slugs and insects. Although a ruined lawn is never a good sight, the damage that moles do is unintentional and arises as they excavate their extensive network of tunnels and underground chambers. They are highly territorial and aggressive to each other, living alone outside of the breeding season, so if you do have a mole problem, it is most likely the handiwork of just one creature.
Squirrels Generally squirrels are not a threat to humans, but the damage caused by them once they have entered a roof space can be expensive to rectify. Squirrels are known to chew woodwork and ceilings, strip the insulation from electrical wires , they will tear up loft insulation.
Squirrels will also cause considerable damage to a garden as they will feast on strawberries, apples and plums, they will also raid the nests of small birds and they will dig holes in lawns to burry their food. Squirrels are know for raiding bird tables and bird feeders .
